SUMMER MUSICAL CANCELED!
We regret to
inform you that due to circumstances beyond our control, we have to cancel the
summer musical, Broadway on the Prairie. There will be no auditions next
week. We are sorry that many will be disappointed, and we apologize for any
inconvenience.

for "A Collection of One Acts" on June 16th and 18th! Get the details on the

What's Ahead!
This summer's Children's Theater Workshop show
will be the "Shining Princess of the Slender Bamboo" by Sylvia Ashby.
Set in Japan 1000 years ago, Shining Princess of the Slender Bamboo is the
dramatization of one of Japan’s best known tales. It tells the story of
Moonbeam, mysterious daughter of the Moon King. She is hidden as a tiny babe
inside a magically glowing bamboo, to be discovered on the night of the August
Moon by the childless Bamboo Cutter. The play presents the comedy and adventure
of Moonbeam's bumbling suitors; the startling revelation of her true identity
and her fate and the dramatic clash between the Moon King and the Emperor.
The show will run from August 8-10 at the historic Riley–Jacques Barn.
